Register once on the relevant official portal (usually JKPSC), keep scanned copies of your photo, signature, 10th/degree certificates and category certificate ready, and apply 3–4 days before the last date since official portals slow down near deadlines. Eligibility is judged on the cut-off date printed in the notification, not the day you apply.
